I recently switched from a Vortex Razor HD GEN II 4.5-27x56 to a Nightforce ATACR 7-35x56 F1-MOAR and I am thoroughly impressed with the upgrade. The Nightforce scope offers a much cleaner and clearer reticle compared to the cluttered micro-dot POA on the Vortex, which was difficult for me to see with my aging eyes. The thicker lines on the Nightforce aid in faster target acquisition. I mounted the scope on a SUHR QD Cantilever mount QD-401 6 and I have to say, it's a fantastic combination. The Nightforce is capable of shooting from 10 meters to infinity, while the Vortex starts at 32 yards, giving the Nightforce a significant advantage. If you're in the market for a precision long-range scope, the Nightforce ATACR is a great option for the price. Good glass comes at a cost, but you won't regret it with this scope.

I have been shooting this gun and scope combination almost daily for a few months now. The quality of this scope is fantastic in every way. It gives me a smile every time I open the lens caps. The view through the scope is stunning. Crystal clear and sharp from edge to edge. Since it is on an Airgun, there are a lot of elevation adjustments happening, and the scope performs perfectly. This is my second NightForce scope. Nightforce makes a fantastic product. None Better! The optics are excellent, the lighted reticle is perfect for early morning or late evening shots, and the Zero Stop feature is an engineering masterpiece.
