While I don't have a great deal of experience installing rifle sling swivels, I have found that Uncle Mike's products consistently perform well. These swivels in particular fit perfectly and appear to be very well constructed. I appreciate the quick-detach feature, and the metal finish has held up nicely. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with these swivels and will definitely purchase Uncle Mike's again when it comes time to add or replace swivels on my firearms. They're a great choice for anyone in need of a reliable, high-quality sling attachment option.

48 years of using Uncle Mike's QD swivels (blued and nickel, 1" and 1 1/4") on all my many sporting rifles and most all of my shotguns and NEVER a single failure. The only other swivels I use are the HD pushbutton types I prefer on my AR rifles, because they go on and come off faster. No concern about that on a hunting rifle.

I think these swivels are pretty cool. However, it's important to ensure that you're purchasing the correct size loop for your needs. As a novice shooter, I mistakenly believed that all slings and loops were the same size, but I quickly learned that this isn't the case. Some slings are one inch wide, while others are 1.25 inches wide. I've discovered that the swivel's part number for the 1.25-inch loop typically ends in a 3. As for the nickel plating, I was initially just curious to see what it looked like, and I have to say that it's not bad. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with these swivels, and they're a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable and aesthetically pleasing sling attachment option.

I purchased these sling swivels to create a paracord rifle sling for my wife, and I'm happy to report that they exceeded my expectations. Before making the purchase, I read through all of the reviews and felt confident that these swivels would be perfect for the job, and I was right! The swivels fit seamlessly onto the sling swivels and have held up remarkably well over the past three years on my wife's Tikka T3 in .243 Winchester. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend these swivels to anyone looking for a reliable and durable sling attachment option.

As expected, these sling swivels work well and serve their purpose effectively. However, I was slightly disappointed to find that the component used to lock and unlock the swivel is made of grey plastic rather than metal. While I hope it will last, I have some reservations about its durability over time. Additionally, I noticed that the nickel coating does not match my stainless steel barrel perfectly, but it is close enough that it doesn't detract from the swivel's functionality. All in all, these swivels are a solid choice for anyone in need of a reliable and effective sling attachment option.

After having a similar set of swivels that had both metal and plastic components break on me, I decided to invest in these all-metal swivels. I'm optimistic that they will hold up much better over time. Although the swivels were a bit challenging to open and attach to the firearm's swivel studs, I don't consider it a major issue because a secure attachment is essential. Overall, I believe these swivels will provide the durability and reliability I need when using my firearm, and I'm pleased with my purchase.

swivel good - customer service real good

I am using these uncle mikes Sling Swivel on Benelli Nova Tactical. Some slight interference with molded plastic swivel mounting area at the muzzle end of a gun. Not a big deal, though. Gun is black and should have gotten black swivels vs. nickel plated.

I bought these to replace some similar swivels that were part metal and part plastic. Guess what? The plastic broke on those, so I am looking forward to all metal swivels and think it will work out pretty good. The swivels were a little tough to open and feed into/onto the swivel studs of the firearm. That is not such a bad thing as you want these to be secure after install. Top quality looking hardware, I think you will not be disappointed with purchasing or using! If my review helps you in your purchase decision, please let me know by liking it.
